Data we collect
For anonymous visitors we process the username you type and return the result — nothing is persisted against your identity. For registered accounts we store your email address, chosen username, a hashed password (scrypt), and the lookup snapshots you choose to keep in your dashboard. Standard server logs record request metadata (IP address, timestamps, user agent) for security and abuse prevention, retained for a short period.
How we use data
Account data is used exclusively to provide your dashboard: authentication, saved lookups and basic abuse prevention. We don't build advertising profiles, we don't run cross-site tracking, and we don't sell or share your personal data with third parties.
Cookies
Swioz uses a single essential cookie for your login session. Language and theme preferences are stored locally in your browser. There are no advertising or analytics cookies loaded from third-party domains.
Security
Passwords are hashed with scrypt and unique salts. Sessions are HTTP-only cookies protected against cross-site requests. Sign-in and sign-up are protected by Cloudflare's human verification, and we monitor for credential-stuffing and abuse patterns.
Your choices
You can clear your entire lookup history from the dashboard at any time. Deleting your account removes your data from active systems. Since anonymous lookups aren't linked to you, there's nothing to delete on that side — close the tab and you're done.
