Why we built Swioz
Swioz started with a simple frustration: the internet made it oddly difficult to look at public information. Wanting to check a public Instagram profile shouldn't require an account, an app, and a visible footprint — it should work like any other lookup on the web.
So we built a clean, fast, honest tool for exactly that. Swioz shows public profile information the way a search engine shows a public webpage: instantly, anonymously, and without asking you to hand over your identity first.
We're a small, independent team. No dark patterns, no fake buttons, no 'human verification' loops — just a search box that works, tools that do what they say, and writing that respects your intelligence.
Principles we work by
Public means public
We only surface information that is already publicly visible. Private stays private — not because we couldn't try, but because respecting privacy settings is the right call and the only sustainable one.
No credential harvesting
Swioz never asks for your Instagram password and never will. Any site that does is a phishing operation — we'd rather be useful than risky.
Fast is a feature
